US REIT - Preferred Strategy

The primary investment objective of the portfolio is the preservation of principle with a secondary objective to achieve high current income in the form of preferred stock dividends, common stock dividends and interest income on bonds, all derived from underlying real estate cash flows of publicly traded REITs and REOCs. The portfolio will be predominantly invested in preferred securities, income-producing common equity securities, convertible securities and debt securities of REITs and REOCs.

The portfolio will be diversified by property type and geographic region as a risk management measure.
